BID NOTICE Sealed proposals for ?Upper Augusta Township Municipal Additions? will be received at the township office, 2087 Snydertown Road, Sunbury, PA 17801, until 3:00 pm prevailing time on Friday, August 30, 2024. Proposals will be publicly opened and read at 5:00 pm on Friday, August 30, 2024, at a special meeting of the supervisors at the township offices. Bidding Documents will be available from Marotta/Main Architects, (e-mail: alf@marottamain.com) after 12 noon EST on Friday, August 9, 2024. Drawings will be distributed to Prime Bidders only, electronically upon e-mail request. All questions must be submitted in writing (emailed) by close of business on Friday, August 23, 2024. Bidders shall be qualified, bondable contractors, with a minimum of five years of experience. Proposals shall be irrevocable for (90) days after bid opening, in compliance with Act #317 of 1978, approved November 26, 1978, and as amended, and shall be accompanied by 10% bid bond or certified check, payable to Upper Augusta Township. Project Scope of Work for the MULTIPLE PRIME CONTRACT; General Construction and Electrical Construction. Base Bid scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: a wood pole building with concrete floor, metal roof and siding; includes new led high bay lighting and basic receptacle coverage. Building will not be conditioned. Work also includes a heated connector addition with a unisex restroom and storage space. A prebid meeting will be held on site located at 2087 Snydertown Road, Sunbury, PA on Tuesday, August 20 at 2:00 pm. The project is subject to applicable provisions of the following, including any amendments and supplements: Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, Act of August 15, 1961, P.L. 987; Pennsylvania Human Relations Act of October 27, 1955, P.L. 744; Pennsylvania Public Works Contractor's Bond Law of December 20, 1967, P.L. 869, no. 385, Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act No. 3 of 1978 as amended. A Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond for 100% of the project sum will be required.
