NOTICE OF ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE

TO ALL CITIZENS & RESIDENTS OF THE BOROUGH OF LEWISBURG:

NOTICE is hereby given that the Borough Council of the Borough of Lewisburg will consider for enactment into law on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 6:30 P.M., at the Lewisburg Borough Building, 55 South Fifth Street, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, a proposed Ordinance, of which this Notice is a summary, to become effective upon enactment, amending Sections 345-28, 345-57 and 345-59 of Chapter 345 of the Code of the Borough of Lewisburg, being part of Ordinance No. 833, enacted October 20, 1987, as amended, which regulates on-street and off-street parking, by prohibiting parking in Municipal Parking Lot Nos. 4 and 5 on Thursdays from 7:00 A.M. to Noon; including violations of any provision of Article IV in addition to Article VI regarding the ticketing of vehicles parked unlawfully in off-street parking lots; and providing that payments for parking violations in off-street unmetered parking lots shall be made to the Borough Building, that the parking permit program consists of two types of parking permits, that parking permits are valid Sunday through Saturday in the municipal parking lots for which they were issued, and that permit applications shall be made to and issued by the Borough Manager, or his designee, who shall have the authority to revoke permits.

The place within the Borough where copies of the proposed Ordinance shall be obtainable for a charge not greater than the cost thereof and available for examination without charge is the Lewisburg Borough Building, 55 South Fifth Street, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania.
