Notice is hereby given that New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc., 3912 Brumbaugh Rd, New Enterprise, PA has made application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Mining and Reclamation, for renewal of an existing National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for the Elizabethville quarry located at 3633 Rt. 225, Elizabethville, PA, in Washington and Jackson Townships, Dauphin County. The existing NPDES permit is PA0124061.

The existing NPDES permitted discharge points remain unchanged. The receiving streams are unnamed tributaries to the Wiconisco and Armstrong Creeks. The site is located approximately 0.9 miles south of the town of Elizabethville along Rt. 225 and is shown on the Elizabethville, Pa., U.S.G.S. 7.5 minute quadrangle map.

A copy of the application is on file for public review through March 11, 2026, at the Washington Township office, 185 Manors Rd., Elizabethville, PA.

Comments concerning this application may be submitted to the District Mining Manager, 5 West Laurel Boulevard, Pottsville, PA 17901, until and including March 11, 2026, and must include the person's name, address, telephone number.

Base Bid scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: a wood pole building with concrete floor, metal roof and siding; includes new led high bay lighting and basic receptacle coverage. Building will not be conditioned. Work also includes a heated connector addition with a unisex restroom and storage space. A prebid meeting will be held on site located at 2087 Snydertown Road, Sunbury, PA on Tuesday, August 20 at 2:00 pm.
